Among the things not in the Globe this morning (along with coverage of the Biden regime’s latest bombing of Iraq and Syria, and the identity of the Globe columnist who wrote a heart-warming column last August about the Winthrop shooter), was any news about former Alaska Senator and anti-war activist Mike Gravel. Maybe the Globe is waiting for permission from the DNC.
Here is Gravel’s finest moment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dsXO8vxYQM

Of all the people we interviewed during my 3 years cohosting a political radio show on our college station, Mike Gravel was the only one who ever hung up on us. He was the only presidential candidate we both got to talk to, so I give him props for coming on. I’ll see if my former co-host can dig up the recording.
It was odd since we both praised him for his courage in disclosing the Pentagon Papers at the start of the interview. He got angry when we both criticized his national referendum proposal which was part of his 2008 campaign. I had asked him if his proposed national referendum would endanger then unpopular ideas like marijuana legalization or gay marriage.
I cited the stat that just four years prior many states had banned gay marriage at the polls while my conservative co-host pressed him on why he supported Roe v Wade rather than using a referendum to decide abortion. I think that’s the question that got him to hang up since he said we were trapping him. It’s too bad since I would’ve liked to gotten a chance to dig deeper into his career. He gave some very candid interviews on his time in the Senate to more successful hosts than me and my friend.

Gravel struck me as a bit “out there”, but yes, the Globe reported his passing.
Since when is Biden bombing Iraq and Syria? Surely as well as I follow the news I would not have missed that.

The NYT has the story, too, but behind a paywall.
