I’m from a Toyota family and love my 07’ Corolla. I was looking to replace it with a hybrid RAV4 or Corolla Cross down the road. Now I might reconsider after reading an expose on their back door lobbying to preserve Trump fuel standards and undermine President Biden’s commitment to electrify autos by 2030.
Even the Detroit dinosaurs GM and Ford are now betting big on electric. Toyota was the leader in hybrid technology and is trying to be a leader in fuel cells, but electric will be the future. They gotta adapt to it, until they do, I’ll look to other companies that are.
