I’m disappointed–no, make that OUTRAGED that former NBA players have been defrauding the medical system. It’s time to teach them a lesson. I propose that none of these players (some of them former Celtics!) be allowed to become a U.S. Senator representing Florida. https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2014/mar/03/florida-democratic-party/rick-scott-rick-scott-oversaw-largest-medicare-fra/

Is there a constitutional process for expelling a state from the union? I’m thinking of the inverse of the Civil War.
I think it’s time to forcibly expel at least Florida and Texas. Each is beyond redemption.

No there is no process, and I definitely would not want to go down that road. For starters there are plenty who would probably want to kick out our state and states we like, and second we really do have lots of advantages as an indestructible union.
