Vice News is reporting the Christian crowdfunding site that raised $8.7 million for the anti-vax “freedom convoy” in Canada got the majority of their donations in the U.S. (56%).
Users who visited the site Sunday were redirected to GiveSendGone.wtf where they were greeted by a video from the Disney film FROZEN and this message : “Attention GiveSendGo grifters and hatriots. You helped fund the January 6th insurrection in the U.S. You helped fund an insurrection in Ottawa. In fact you are committed to fund anything that keeps the raging fire of misinformation going until it burns the world’s collective democracies down. On behalf of sane people worldwide who wish to continue living in a democracy, I am now telling you that GiveSendGo itself is now frozen.”

I’m missing something. How much funding do you need to park your truck in an illegal or inconvenient spot?
SomervilleTom says
We’re not talking about parking a truck in an inconvenient spot.
We’re instead talking about buying food, tents, cooking facilities, loudspeakers, temporary power, and so on so forth — for hundreds or thousands of people.
I’m also under the impression that funds like this were replacing lost income for at least some of the protesting truckers.
Christopher says
I guess I didn’t realize things were getting that elaborate.

Class action lawsuit for convoy organizers, donors, truckers now $306,000,000 and counting. Each day is another $15 M in personal harm and lost revenue and wages.

Raphael ‘Ted’ Cruz deleted a FUX NOISE bogus tweet which falsely claimed Canadian Mounted police trampling killed a protester. POX bull-shevik factory douche kept the LIE up for 24 hours before taking it down.
