The main side-effect of the vaccines they talk about is cardiomyopathy, which is a thickening of the heart muscle mainly among young men.
But Dr. Vin Gupta – a prominent cardiologist – has made clear that this side effect is very rare, that it is mild and transitory, and that the condition is far more likely to be caused by an active COVID infection (which can be mitigated by the vaccine).
