Now that we know that super-consultant-to-the-stars Eric Fehrnstrom was behind the comedy gold that is CrazyKhazei, some of the tweets bear a second look.
This is probably the worst of them.
I promise to devote all my time in office to making gay videos. Shame on Scott Brown for focusing on jobs! #mapoli
A particularly nasty reference to the dust-up over Scott Brown’s refusal to participate in the MA congressional delegation’s “It gets better” video. Here’s another grim one.
Ha! Love it, Mr. DelFuegosgang RT @JohnFugelsang GOP demands FDR’s corpse for public necrophilia gang defilement by Tea Party Congress
Hard to tell whether the “Ha! Love it” is facetious or an actual expression of amusement by Fehrnstrom at the sexually bizarre tweet from Mr. Fugelsang, who calls himself an “actor, comedian, writer, TV & radio person, photographer & recovering cynic.” Also, unclear why Fehrnstrom apparently intentionally altered Fugelsang’s name. Maybe someone will ask him.
One of the most interesting ones in light of today’s revelation is this one regarding the debt ceiling deal:
Thanks to the MA congressmen voting NO on the debt deal. Sorry folks, some things are more important than your 401ks #mapoli
Scott Brown, of course, voted “yes” on the debt deal, so the sarcastic tweet makes sense from a Brown operative perspective. The awkwardness, though, is that Fehrnstrom also works for Mitt Romney, who lambasted the deal and said he couldn’t support it. One has to imagine that the Romney folks are less than pleased about that one.
In the category of strange and inappropriate things that you wouldn’t expect a professional political consultant to say publicly, two stood out to me. This one:
Do you think @harmonywho will go on a blind date with me? She is blind, right?
That’s just weird, and not a little creepy. And this one speaks for itself – perhaps a bit too loudly.
A bong MT @BU_Tweets Move-in is less than a month away — time to pack! What is one thing you’re glad you brought with you freshman year?
Finally, we were of course deeply touched by this obviously heartfelt comment. Right back atcha, Eric, ya big lug!
I want to thank @bluemassgroup for their always honest and objective reporting on MA politics #mapoli
Did you find others that stood out?

Worst of all, with Romney tie-less in a blue blazer, it’s kind of true.

All that comes to mind is that great band from the early ’80s, the Del Fuegos (Dan Zanes’s project prior). Maybe he’s a fan.

Look who “Eric the Red” set his secret “Crazy Khazei” identity to follow. He’s reached the point where he’s his own most interested audience.
