This is just weird … and even a little sad in that I honestly don’t think he realized it. Here’s Romney at a big Florida rally today:
“Tomorrow, we begin a new tomorrow,” he said. “Tomorrow, we begin a better tomorrow. This nation is going to begin to change for the better tomorrow. … We can begin a better tomorrow tomorrow.”
“We can begin a better tomorrow tomorrow.” Remind you of something you might have seen on late-night Comedy Central?
That’s right, “Americans for a Better Tomorrow, Tomorrow,” the satirical (but real) Super PAC created by Stephen Colbert last year. Mitt Romney seems unwittingly to have gone all-in on the slogan that Colbert evidently thought was absurd enough to be the motto of his hilarious send-up of campaign finance law.
Can’t make this stuff up.
