Question: Why was Belmont, Cambridge, Somerville, Waltham, and Boston locked down when authorities didn’t bother to check a covered in boat in a backyard a half mile from where the suspect fled on foot?
Was it all for show?
David Boeri reported on WBUR that the Watertown “parameter” ended at the house where the now infamous boat was found. Soon after the residents of “the parameter” were given the the go-ahead to leave their homes a civilian walked outside and noticed blood on and/or around the boat. He immediately called 911.
A state police helicopter equipped with heat sensing cameras zeroed in on the boat and reported the seeing something consistent with a person and very still. Upon reporting this law enforcement made use of a stun grenade after which the heat sensing cameras saw movement. Thus he’s alive.
A covered boat in a backyard on a traier
Incompetence!!!!!!
The kid could have run for miles and this was a half mile from last nights shootout.
Every covered boat (and there are hundreds within five miles), plus sheds etc should have been flown over and examined by helicopters with the special cameras. Obviously, right folks? Am I missing something.
What am I talking about? Jesus Christ, who needs helicopters and high tech cameras? Goddamnit, check the fucking boats in the backyard!!!!!!
All the goddamn toys they wheeled out/
Right now, as I am writing the obvious, there is another farce of a press conference. And I have no idea why Ed Davis is speaking on this right now.
Watertown police chief just said “we had no information he left the parameter”. Huh?
I won’t even bother them about how the guy got away last night?
I’ll even cut them slack for that.
A covered boat a fucking half mile away.
BUT FOR the bad guys killing a cop last night resulting in the car chase by officers not involved in the investigation AND BUT FOR a civilian finding the guy in the boat would the brothers be dead or in custody right now?
Yet here we watch this complete farce of our law enforcement agencies creating a false narrative. You would think they won the World Series. Does everyone get a championship ring?
Watching the press conference you would think we were planning a Duck Parade for these buffoons. Hey a-holes, the whistle blew Monday and great work was done. The whistle blew today and you failed when you could have easily shined. Lucky more kids weren’t killed today/
Everyone did a great job when the bombs went off Monday. After that? When people had time to think and work together in apprehending the culprits they failed.
BTW It is very unbecoming to hear this constant chest beating of how great and strong we are and Boston is blah blah.
You know what people? How about some humility and thanks for the rest of the world who are helping and watching.
I hate to tell you this but we are no better than anyone else. We’re not college kids at one big pep rally.
BTW2 These Chechyan Muslims are big time mother fuckers who make everyone else look like Richie Cunninghams. Including the Russians and Taliban. And three dudes were arrested in New Bedford as part of their cell I believe. And don’t forget the older kid recently visited Russia.
Not sure if this is all over.
I’m sure Officer Collier deserved to die to in your narrative, you two bit drudge wannabe.
“deserved to die to(sic)”?
Who did I say deserved to die.
Because a co died all law enforcement gets a free pass on competence?
Not falling the intellectual part of argument. The emotional part is clear. But the factual part of your argument is noticeably missing.
“The factual part” is usually missing from all your arguments. I am saying if the police are so downright incompetent because they didn’t personally listen to what you and your cousin Sully were saying while throwing back some buds and playing Keno at Docksides, then this officer who was killed was killed due to his incompetence and te incompetence of the manhunt. You can call me a pink hat and a lefty all you want, my family goes back four generations to the North Cambridge bricklayers and we have plenty of cops and firefighters in our family and circles of friends. And frankly I do not think you know what your talking about.
eb3, not today…
I literally laughed out loud reading it.
Too bad only you and I get it.
Thanks,
