Here is some additional analysis of Ed Markey’s advantage with women voters, which has been consistent across every poll of the Markey/Gomez Senate race:

Markey has moved from a slight disadvantage with men, to a slight advantage, and he has held a strong double-digit lead with women in every poll.
In order to win, Gomez would need to significantly reduce his deficit with women and develop a Scott Brown-like double-digit lead with men to stand a chance, but that is unlikely given his stances on women’s health and gun control issues.

has Markey up 18 with women (56-38) and dead even (48-48) among men. That looks a bit better than Warren-Brown, and they have him up 12 overall. Same as Emerson two weeks ago.
Markey’s support among both men and women is more solid. A large number of Gomez supporters are “somewhat Gomez” instead of “strongly Gomez.”

But I’ll be voting for him.

A lot of us held out noses for Coakley. It’s even worse voting for the lesser of two evils when they lose.

apparently.

The joke doesn’t work when you take out one of the two identical comments that this was written in response to!
