America has just witnessed an unconscionable abuse of power. President Obama has betrayed his oath to the nation — rather than bringing us together, ushering in a new kind of politics, and rising above raw partisanship, he has succumbed to the lowest denominator of incumbent power: justifying the means by extolling the ends. He promised better; we deserved better.
[It goes on, and how.]
Well gosh … you know what Mitt gets from me? A big, big, very sincere and honest THANK YOU for constructively engaging on the health care issue back in 2006. (Yeah, there was some political do-si-do and CYA, but that's forgivable.)
Mitt, we couldn't have done it without you. Thanks.
begat ObamaCare. And we wasted all this time on bad poorly written theater. Git your natural homopathic roots and herbs right here.
Where’s my fork? Romney is DONE!
to the reform package, people disagree. What I can’t accept is the manner and tone that he uses as he panders to the wing of his party that will choose the next nominee for President. He has gone from someone who was intelligent, to just another politician who parrots the same lines that they all do, regardless of how unimaginative it shows him to be. It’s just so sad.
Recently Rep. Boehner’s office circulated a shocking memo from the House Democratic leadership. Only it wasn’t from the House Democratic leadership and, at the time, no one knew for sure what it’s origin was.
<
p>This has become typical though of GOP press policy: State any accusation whether vetted or not, true or false and make it the responsibility of the Press — or failing that — the Democrats to correct it.
<
p>The second book by the late intellectual father of modern conservatism was a ringing defense of Senator Joe McCarthy. Possibly accusing has become more important than getting it right — just as William F. Buckley argued in 1954.
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

p>Which part of this oath has been betrayed?
Romney’s tirade is not only idiotic but unconscionable. This remark demands an apology.
