Last night Rachel Maddow reported on her program that Scott Brown has sent one of those scary fundraising letters saying that she has been approached to run for Senate in 2012. He alleges that the accidently public tweet of John Walsh discussed here several days ago was meant for her. She “recused” herself from hosting the segment and moved to the guest chair and had her producer interview her. She denies receiving the tweet or any other encouraging communication from the state party, as well as any interest in jumping into that race. Too bad – at least it would have the benefit of giving our friend JohnD a fit:)

Oh, I forgot, he already has $6 million in the bank.

p>But he wants more, of course. Because the word “bloated” should never be applied to Scott Brown’s personal campaign staff and operations.

Believing “obscure” and unsubstantiated local blog posts are appropriate sources for written communication befitting a United States Senator is par for the course with Brown. He is, in the words of one of his former colleagues in the state senate, “a rube.”
<
p>His erratic behavior since landing in Washington, his mixed messages regarding policy and philosophy, and his inability to establish a functional senate office all speak to the notion that Mr. Brown is way in over his head. He is embarrassing, but I’m hoping his antics will continue, unabated, until 2012.
