There are a few others and I can’t quite remember their handles. I listed people in the order of the person ID number. Some may recall a long ago diary in which people discussed how they stared reading BMG and it turned into a discussion of who had the lowest ID number!

…is pretty obviously for Alicea it seems; not sure whether Cahill or Baker was intended for Governor – that vote should probably not count.
I have a really hard time agreeing that an error on one race should invalidate the entire rest of the ballot. What is the reasoning behind that??
what is the law behind it?
the law is that an overvote on one race does not invalidate the vote on the other races.
I thought each race was considered separately.
The issue is not whether or not the intent of the voter was to support Alicea. Neither is it the whether the overvote invalidated the entire ballot.
The ballot should have been counted but wasn’t. That is really all there is to it. The first court date was today. There is an article in the T&G. If there is an overvote when the voter marks a ballot in person, the scanner rejects it, the ballot is deemed spoiled and the voter is given a second ballot. As I understand it, the absentee ballot was deemed spoiled, which shouldn’t happen. The article doesn’t talk much about the underlying issue, just about what transpired today but the comments give some information about what people are saying.
Brent and I had a great time at your party. I am so glad we could make it this year. Thanks for hosting!
