Since we had our kiddo, Costco has been indispensible (diapers). It’s kind of fun, wicked cheap, and the store-brand quality is good. They give money to Democrats and health insurance to their employees.

Warning: You need space in your home to put the ginormous-size packages of stuff. And you may find yourself over-consuming, cause heck, it’s so cheap. Genius business model.

Agreed. In fact, it was reading in a news story contrasting them with Wal-Mart (actually, probably with Sam’s Club, but that’s splitting hairs) that Costco’s average employee makes (if I’m remembering the figure correctly) 42% more than Wal-Mart’s average employee, plus health insurance, that convinced me getting a membership was worthwhile.
