So Chris Gabrielli thinks its a good time to enter into the race for govenor. This is foreseeable from Galvin or perhaps Lynch, but I guess getting snubbed by Reilly got to him.
I don’t doubt that, like Deval, Gabrielli has the bucks to write a check for his campaign thereby matching the war chest that Reilly accrued while AG but the bigger question is support.
This seems to cast more doubt on Reilly as the delegates that Mr. Gabrielli must court to get into the race and get his 15% are the same delegates that Mr. Reilly must be counting on to guaranttee him his 15%.
As neither of these men are noted grassroots organizers, they must depend on the party faithful who vote by name rather than ability.
At the very least it will make the race more interesting though quite possibly guranteeing the Republicans another term as governor…
