How Kerry Healey can capture Democratic vote

October 4, 2006 By dancroak

Kerry Healey speaking to the camera ~ “You know what one-party government gets you, because that’s what we have currently at the national level.”

Montage of New York Times headlines on Iraq ~ “It brought us a ruined foreign policy as we’ve observed the quagmire in Iraq.”

Montage from Spike Lee’s HBO documentary on Katrina ~ “It brought us deep mistrust of our leaders as we watched our neighbors abandoned after Hurricane Katrina. ”

Clip of President Bush at just about any press conference where he is asked legitimate questions ~ “It brought us avoidance of responsibility and not a single admission of failure.”

Cut back to Healey ~ “I’m Kerry Healey.  Vote Republican for governor of Massachusetts.”

But I don’t know if it’s as powerful a statement as the current ad featuring five guys who have endorsed her opponent.

And there’s got to be a way to get that sphygmomanometer into one of the ads.
