sounds like he’s doing as much for the patrick/murray ticket as are his supporters, who seem to be missing in action — at least in chelmsford. no surprise there, considering who they are.

You can speak for Chelmsford if you know that to be true, but you do not speak about former Reilly and Gabrieli supporters statewide…many of whom are working hand in hand with the Deval/Murray campaign to get a strong vote out for the ticket on Tuesday. They are raising money, making phone calls, filling rally events…just like you, I assume, are.

It’s harder for them to do than you, too, because Deval was not their first choice, but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t helping get our team elected. I welcome them with open arms to the big “DP” team (the DP stands for Democratic Party)

Beginning Nov. 8, Deval Patrick is going to need a lot of people helping him to succeed in office…if only the early true believers are to be welcome, he will be in trouble from day one.
i didn’t mean to speak for the entire state, only for my small part of it, and i apologize for that.

that the overwhelming majority of Gabs and Reilly supporters are with Deval. Otherwise he would be in a much closer race than it is. His percentage in the general election will be HIGHER than it was in the primary. This is the first Gubernatorial election in 20 years when the Democratic Party is this united.

While I am on the subject of unity…what the %^&*(#$ is all this Jill Stein stuff? She could have run in the Primary if she wanted. For the same reason I sent my $50 to Ned Lamont and hope the Lieberman loses…I hope that Galvin (who I don’t (articularly like) burries her on Tuesday. You guys are all for democracy apparently except when an election (in this case the primary) results in a less than optimal result.

The Democratic State Committee has rules on party unity. The Editors have endorsed someone in another party against the Democratic nominee. Technically, they would be barred from the next nominating convention. (A tactic that was used by Deval Patrick supporters to block Melrose and Malden elected officials from the June convention.)

He’s got a letter in today’s Watertown Tab in support of Rachel Kaprielian.

I hear through the Watertown grapevine that he’s planning on doing something for the Patrick/Murray ticket. Not sure what or when, though.

AFTER they win might strike him as perfect timing.
