Interesting analysis. I’d give Eldridge more credit for focusing on field, though. Every special election I’ve ever seen has been won in the field.

There wasn’t any mention of Thomas Tierney, the second Republican getting in the race. Any thoughts on the effect on the Democratic primary now that there is a Republican race, too? I’d guess it won’t matter too much, but it may draw some conservatives away from Finegold and Miceli.
