Poor Howie Carr. A mean ol’ judge wouldn’t let him break his contract with WRKO (680 AM) to take his talk-show shenanigans to better-rated WTKK (96.9 FM). And all Howie gets out of it is a lousy $7 million over five years.
All together now: awwwwwwwwwwww.
Seven million bucks in five years. The next time Howie moans about Deval Patrick’s house in the Berkshires or something, let’s recall that Howie hasn’t exactly got his finger on the pulse of the plight of the working stiff either. Like today, Howie’s all worried because he’s thinking about Hillary Clinton and “I close my eyes and it’s 1993 again and my paycheck has suddenly shrunk.” Your paycheck. Your seven million dollar paycheck. My heart bleeds, Howie, my heart bleeds.

…Don “I’m An Ass” In The Morning (I don’t have a subscription to your cited web page), it should be remembered that WABC is owned by The Walt Disney Company. Disney also owns KSFO in San Francisco, which broadcasts far right-wing blather.

A few months ago, Disney got all upset because one blogger sent audio clips from KSFO to the advertisers to let them know what they were sponsoring. Disney claimed copyright infringement, but as far as I can tell, that was a valid “fair use” use.
