and fun, and a great night for Edwards. Two good nights in a row… maybe it’ll be a little momentum to truly make this a three person race.

I agree with both of them about Bill O’Reilly, too. Unfortunately, my hair isn’t as good as Letterman’s, let alone Edwards’s. (And saying that one’s own hair isn’t as goot as Letterman’s is being brutally honest with oneself)
My favorite part of the segment was when John suggested the Letterman do for him what Oprah did for Obama. Dave seemed to really be having a good time with the back and forth.

p>This appearance was a good thing for Edwards. A lot of people I’ve talked to about him have said, “He’s so angry.” This must be a media meme because I’ve seen him speak and answer questions quite a few times when he was in New Hampshire and have not witnessed any anger. Maybe if enough people get to see him outside of the miniscule coverage he gets on television news, they will realize he’s not all work and no play.
<
p>I never liked that thing they used to say about Bush – that he’s someone you would want to have a beer with. Personally, I would rather poke a needle in my eye. But, frankly, I wouldn’t mind sittin’ around having a cold one with John.

And kudos to Letterman’s pants for settling a contract with their writers.
