Deval campaigns for Lori

February 27, 2008 By David

The juggernaut that is long-time BMG denizen Lori Ehrlich’s campaign for the 8th Essex state rep seat marches on!  Here’s the Gov campaigning for her yesterday in Marblehead:

Note the violin eerily suspended over Lori’s head!  The Violin of Damocles, if you will.  We’re not sure what that means, but we’re investigating and will report back as soon as we learn anything.

Anyway, here’s the Gov’s remarks:

“Lori Ehrlich understands that sound environmental policy for Massachusetts goes hand-in-hand with good economic policy,” said Patrick. “Lori is a leading advocate for creating a clean energy economy in Massachusetts that promotes innovation, creates jobs and protects our environment. I look forward to working with her as a partner on Beacon Hill.”

And we’re looking forward to seeing her up there!

That’s the Fiddle of Devalocles.  It plays the Cadillac theme on one string.  It is a legendary Instrument of Caution passed down from last year’s neophyte to the next.  I’ve seen the self same model hanging in Obama’s house.

What a phony!  Deval appoints a “Member of the Club”, State Representative Doug Peterson, as agriculture commissioner.  I don’t recall there being too many farms in Marblehead.  Was it after a ‘nationwide’ search for the most qualified person?

    <

p>Now Deval is campaigning for the replacement.  It is good to get a Democrat in a competitive seat.  Why Deval created the vacancy in the first place?  Oh, a higher pension for a ‘Member of the Club” maybe?

    <

p>In this photo Deval looks up to heaven.  Maybe he is announcing a budget item to legalize prostitution as a means to empower women?  Yes, he is a saint!

    <

    p>Deval,  get real!

Now that Obama is moving into a comfortable lead, Deval will be stopping by Massachusetts from time to time until the general heats up.

Instead of focusing on the prior rep, who many in the district seem to spew venom about, why don’t we focus on the great qualities that Lori will bring to the office?
