McCain has already built himself a very positive image on environmental issues. Part of his appeal to independents is his perceived leadership on environment and energy issues.
Global climate change, energy independence, water and air quality, our children’s future – all too important to have a “me too, just don’t ask me to do anything about it” President.

The fact that McCain has utterly rejected most of the votes necessary to protect the environment from furthur damage comes as absolutely no surprise. Really disgusting, imho.
