trying to divert attention from the well-deserved criticisms Obama is facing elsewhere on the blog? if not, how do you reconcile the crap obama is taking on people who thought they were his base with these numbers? simple lag effect? people don’t care about civil rights erosion and church-state issues? not paying attention? other?

p>As to the polls, (1) there is no doubt a lag, and (2) it remains to be seen how many votes, if any (well, I guess Sabutai’s is one) Obama will lose as a result of the well deserved criticisms.
