The 35th Middlesex Distict. We brought on candidates Pat McCabe for one 30 minute show and Jim Caralis for another. They both seek to unseat incumbent – and certainly not progressive – Paul Donato.
In the Second Suffolk State Senate District. Senator Wilkerson planned to come on, but disappointingly bailed on us the day before the show was scheduled. We went on with the show anyway, Mike playing Devil’s Advocate for most of the show.
We had her challenger Sonia Chang Diaz on in the spring to talk about her campaign, the issues and the race.
Finally, we had Christine Dorchak, Co-Chair of the Committee to Protect Dogs, on the show to talk about why you should vote yes on 3 – the ballot question which would phase out greyhound racing in the state of Massachusetts.
As everyone can see, it’s been a busy season for LeftAhead, with lots of stellar guests. Needless to say, countless hours went into all of this work, so Lynne, Mike and I hope you all enjoy it and make use of it. The episodes are all available at the links I provided, but they can be downloaded at the LeftAhead Archives or on iTunes. The primaries are around the corner – and the general election’s not far behind. It’s time to educate yourself on the issues and see what some of our brightest progressives running for office have to say.
