“Let me be as clear as possible,” Obama said. “I think people’s families are off-limits, and people’s children are especially off-limits. This shouldn’t be part of our politics. It has no relevance to Gov. Palin’s performance as governor or her potential performance as a vice president.”
Obama said reporters should “back off these kinds of stories” and noted that he was born to an 18-year-old mother.
“How a family deals with issues and teenage children, that shouldn’t be the topic of our politics, and I hope that anybody who is supporting me understands that’s off-limits.”
Well. at least he has more class than some of you. Good job, Barack.

..is like a lecture on marital fidelity from John McCain.
johnd says
Nobody is talking about Obama or Biden anymore, just Sarah. Keep attacking her and see how many people like her more.
demolisher says
speaking of class, why don’t you explain to us when its funny and appropriate for white people to use the N-word?
<
p>Or should I just link to your post on the subject?
<
p>Its too bad because I think you can write when you try but clearly you’ve given up and crawled into some kind of hostile shell. You’re just throwing silly little angsty bombs when you could be using your brain.
<
p>Keep it real, homie!
tblade says
I’ve forgotten what I said and the vain side of me enjoys reading what I wrote in the past.

p>Hey there’s nothing wrong with being a white afrophile, seriously I mean it.
<
p>But class? Spare me the lecture pal.

That’s so much worse than when you posted that someone here was a “piece of shit” and that the Emmett Till case was like the OJ trial. And I never said it was appropriate for White people to say nigger, but I did think it was funny when Kanye gave his “permission” – as if it was his to give – for White people in the audience to sing along with his song. But keep grasping at straws anyway.
<
p>Have fun scouring google for any other “controversial” statements I may have made since clearly you have nothing better to do with your time. It seems like you have spent more time searching for me online than the McCain camp spent vetting his VP choice. Kinda creepy, but hey – if that’s how you get your kicks, knock yourself out.
<
p>LOL.
demolisher says
To each his own I guess. I didnt write it, you did, and FYI its 1 hop out of your little profile where you basically suggest googling for a umass boston tblade might turn up dirt, not my idea, your own.
<
p>Nice comprehension on the TIll/OJ reference.

We are questioning John McCain. This was his first executive decision and it was a cluster-f. It was obvious that she was not vetted, it was a panic decision. Not what you want from a presidential candidate.
<
p>Carry on….

JMc: So, you’ve found out that her unmarried daughter will soon have a baby.
<
p>XX: That disqualifies her as VP of the USA, right?
<
p>XX: What are you an idiot?
<
p>JMc: Good point.
johnk says
Gary, what part of vetting don’t you understand. Post from Sabutai is the updated list. Then you have McCain’s team vetting her after the fact. Is your argument Palin was fully vetted?
<
p>Explain, this should be entertaining.
kbusch says
There is no reason for Democratic activists to get too immersed in this story because the Press is guaranteed to feed on it. Palin has already shown herself to be deceptive about both the trooper scandal and the bridge to no where. Given that those two stories came out after McCain’s “thorough vetting” (read “reckless decision”), Palin has made herself a target. Whatever is found is likely to be fascinating: it could be a salacious scandal about unusual people in a faraway, unusual state.

p>Would more could cable networks want?
