A Snapshot: North Shore Dems Doing Their Part!

October 11, 2008 By peabody

Peabody Obama-Biden grassroots coordinator Noreen Hazelton led a carpool to Portsmouth, NH, on Saturday, October 11.  Where she discussed the campaign with Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, who was also canvassing out of the Portsmouth Obama-Biden office.

Lynn School Committee member Maria Carrasco brought canvassers to Nashua, NH, on Saturday too.  Just like the school board member, Barack Obama understands urban issues and educational concerns of all people.

Needless to say, North Shore Obama-Biden supporters are energized to bring about change.  Democrats are leading the way!

Locally, there was a visibility event at the Nahant rotary along the Lynn seashore on Friday, October 3, and another one last Friday in Wyoma Square.  In addition to a sign holding for Obama-Biden in Danvers Square last Saturday.

A visibility event is scheduled for Peabody Square on Saturday morning, Oct 25.

Democrats are hosting a Pre-Election Reception at the AOH Hall at 58 Lowell Street in Peabody on Friday evening October 24.  Lynn Democrats will hold their annual Unity Breakfast at Tatiana’s Restaurant at 70 Market Street in downtown Lynn on Sunday morning, October 26.

North Shore Democrats are doing their part with carpools to canvass in New Hampshire every weekend until the election.  Obama-Biden enthusiasts are also phone banking.

The Beverly Democratic City Committee has an office downtown.  Ipswich  Dems have one in their town too.  Cape Ann Dems have a headquarters in Gloucester.

The presidential election this year has really created great interest in issues important to all Americans. Voter registration has been phenomenal.  The deadline to register to vote in the November 4 presidential election  is fast approaching.

Every region needs to rise to the occasion!

                        YES WE CAN!

                       GO OBAMA-BIDEN!

    P. S.  I am not anyone mentioned by name.  I have no othere purpose than making sure we don’t get complacent!

p>Every region is steppeing up to the plate.  My philosopy is that support demonstrated here will motivate others to call their family, friends, and transplants in swing states like New Hampshire and Florida.

    <

p>Also, lots of folks are working two or three jobs to make ends meet and/or raising children, but want to be a part of this campaign.  Those willing to go to New Hampshire or phone bank has shot up exponentially.
