Join Gov. Patrick in NH this Saturday for canvassing!

October 9, 2008 By cambridge_paul

There’s less than 4 weeks to go until the November 4th election.  If you’ve been thinking of volunteering and making a difference, here’s your chance.

Join our very own Gov. Deval Patrick this Saturday, Oct. 11th, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire to go canvassing door to door for the Obama-Biden campaign.

Transportation is provided: Buses will leave Roxbury Community College at the parking lot on the corner of Columbus Ave. and Cedar Street at 9:00am and canvassing will last till roughly 5pm.

If you have you a car and that’s easier: The Obama Portsmouth office is at 195 Hanover Street, Suite 13 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

If you plan on taking the bus, please send a facebook email to Matt Kitsos ,the creator of the Mass Democratic Party facebook group and who sent out this info.  If you do not have facebook, feel free to email me and I can pass your info along.

Also, if any BMGers will be joining, please leave comments and perhaps we could all meet up.  Hope to see you there.  And don’t forget, there’s another canvass coming up on Sunday 10/19 if you can’t make Saturday.

Go Dems!

canvass for Jeanne Shaheen at the same time who is running for a US Senate seat against incumbent Republican John Sununu.  We’re in good standing with polls showing Shaheen ahead 50% to 45%, but lets not take anything for granted.

Carol Shea-Porter isn’t exactly guaranteed re-election.  Let’s keep New Hampshire on the winning team.
