This Daniel Choi business is bonkers, isn’t it?

May 19, 2009 By David

So this guy’s a West Point graduate who speaks Arabic, of all things, yet the military wants to drum him out because, well, he doesn’t like girls.

Yeah, that makes sense.  We obviously don’t need Arabic speakers in the military as much as we need the military to be less gay.

Really, though, Choi has done Obama a huge favor.  Choi is the poster boy for people who should not be kicked out because they’re gay.  Come on, the guy SPEAKS ARABIC!!  He gives Obama the perfect excuse to say, look, enough is enough, and we are not discharging this man.  And I think America will back him up.

I really hope Obama can handle that.

This general seems to provide a compelling reason. Gays are just too precious to serve!

Thanks for the chuckle – I like the way the Daily Show framed it the other day…
