Exclusive from Think Progress: Yoon takes on tyranny!

June 19, 2009 By David

HT to an alert reader for this hilarious screw-up over at Yglesias’s place (click for larger view):

I’m sure Sam Yoon is indeed hoping that what he’s doing represents “how regimes end,” but I’m not sure that even he would go so far as to compare Mayor Menino to the government in Burma….

Probably a mix-up on the from uploading the photo, but that’s classic.

p>Yglesias did, however, have a post on Yoon earlier this week:

Just what Yoon needs…more stuff about how much he relies on out-of-state support…really out-of-state support.

From the comments on the post:

    The picture is an in-joke.

Yglesias is hoping for the removal of the automobile-centric Menino regime and its replacement by the bicycle-friendly Yoon.

Confusing to a recent arrival to be sure, but also decipherable.

That plus actual faces of actual demonstrators in Iran could help security forces there some day in a crackdown.
