Following up on my previous post about Scott Brown’s doubts about Obama’s mother’s marriage, here’s the rest of the conversation. Therein, Scott Brown staunchly defends Sarah Palin as someone with “a lot of good core values.” Enjoy.

That’s the giveaway that Brown is a right wing nut job. Notice how he uses the word Democrat as an adjective and not as a noun, as in “that’s a Democrat idea.” This is the same language we get from all of the nut jobs like Michelle Bachman, Sarah Palin and the fat man lying on the radio. If I were Martha I’d call him on this. It’s disrespectful language. This is not the way “an independent thinker” speaks.

…why they use Democrat as an adjective OR why we get so upset about it. After all Republican is both adjective and noun. Is there a perjorative connotation I’m missing?

because it implies that the DemocratIC party is more ‘democratic’ than the fascist wing of the Republican party as represented by Fox News.

especially since I tend to be a small r republican in that I’m not really a big fan of the purest and most direct form of democracy.

p>BTW, as a general comment to you it seems you’ve been awfully generous with the delete requests lately (ie zero ratings) JohnD and billxi say a lot of things worthy of a three, but I would save deletions for the outrageously offensive like being sworn at.

I’m sick of reading their insults, flamebait, and paranoid rantings. The Admins are very patient with them-more than I could ever be. There are other conservatives on this blog who are at least reasonable and contribute to the conversation.
