January 12, 2011 By massmarrier

We should be plain that not all the brains behind those millions of lonely eyes will be receptive of such inspiration and transformation. We are not, for example, likely to hear widespread support in Congress for either turning down … [Read more...]

And with that, Sarah Palin’s political career ended [updated]

January 12, 2011 By David

"Blood libel"?  Really? In her seven-and-a-half minute video, Ms. Palin said that "journalists and pundits should not manufacture a blood libel that serves only to incite the very hatred and violence they purport to condemn. That is … [Read more...]

Romney Lies on Leno, Commences Operation Stop Palin

December 2, 2010 By scout

The former MA Gov. must feel he is in a really bad position for the 2012 repub nomination if he thinks he needs to take shots himself at his Alaskan rival this early.  As part of an attempt to land a backhanded attack against Sarah … [Read more...]

Fighting Crazy With Silly, What An Honest Grassroots Pushback Looks Like

April 19, 2010 By johnnyplankton

When I first heard that Sarah Palin would be the keynote Talking Points Screamer for the corporate-sponsored "grassroots" Tea Party Express III that would be rolling into Boston on April 14th, my first reaction was "Not In My Back Yard she … [Read more...]

“Largest rally in our state’s history.” LOL

April 14, 2010 By David

So I'm watching the live feed of Sarah Palin's speech (it's available at boston.com and also on NECN).  So far, pretty standard-issue stuff -- "spending bad, freedom good" etc.  The crowd is cheering ... but I'd say politely, … [Read more...]

I support trans rights, yet I can’t help notice the growing and historically new and weird trend of protesting at your statehouse for because of what other state legislatures are doing, things that your legislature is firmly on record being against. #mapoli

SenRobynKennedy @senrobynkennedy

The message is simple: Protect Trans Kids.

We must ensure that our kids feel safe and protected as they pursue a life free of discrimination and danger because of who they are.

Let me just say loud and clear - to transit twitter, to the governor, to the legislature, and everyone else in #mapoli: Transit Matters has been wrong for years in their predictions of what is and is not possible at MBTA.

TransitMatters @transitmatters

"Let me just say loud & clear—to him, to the governor, to the legislature—if [Phil Eng] only has the resources that he has today, he will fail because they're not enough."

Thank you @SenJohnVelis for inviting me to speak with Housing Authorities in your district! #mapoli #bospoli

Senator John Velis @SenJohnVelis

Grateful to my friend and @MA_Senate Housing Chair, @LydiaMEdwards, for taking the time today to meet with Housing Authorities in my district.

We had a productive conversation on how we can improve CHAMP (MA Common Housing Application) and support our Public Housing Authorities.
