Wake Up and Stand Up – Time for a different drink and a different party

February 26, 2010 By medfieldbluebob

It’s mission is:

The Coffee Party Movement gives voice to Americans who want to see cooperation in government. We recognize that the federal government is not the enemy of the people, but the expression of our collective will, and that we must participate in the democratic process in order to address the challenges that we face as Americans. As voters and grassroots volunteers, we will support leaders who work toward positive solutions, and hold accountable those who obstruct them

.

It’s web site’s at:

http://coffeepartyusa.com/

I was hoping for a plain old Party Party, but this will do for the time being. It’s emphasis on civil discourse may prevent some of you from joining. :-p

Anyone up for a cup of joe?

Globalists do own the government.  They think the concept of nations is obsolete.  They are well into enslaving the entire world into a post modern scienfifically controlled dystopian very bad sci-fi movie soylent green eating peasant world.

is the Coffee Party.  They are counting on your defeatist attitude.  Their biggest fear is that people will begin cooperating and participating in government, especially the federal government.  They don’t actually own it, they actually could not stop a cooperating coalition of Americans from taking control of the federal government and making it work for a sustainable and livable world, a non-dystopian, not-scientifically controlled, non-soylent green eating, only slightly peasant world.

I agree that the tea party movement does not represent the majority of the angry voters in America.  However, those who want the change that was expected when Obama and the Dem majorities were elected seem to be grouped in with them.
It will take a while to learn more about the values of this group; at first read it seems like a good answer to the tea party dilemna.

I heard on the radio the other day a Tea-Partier who was in favor of single-payer health care . . . and was confused. But obviously there’s a need for a Tea-Party-like movement that appeals to a more liberal/independent audience of people who want things to actually get done. Interesting idea.

since they killed JFK one can not expect a Tea Party to produce lucid results.

p>I just joined the group on Facebook. I’m not sure if it is a good idea for Democrats to join though, especially activists.

    <

p>The counter charge from teabaggers will be that the Coffee Party is a sockpuppet for the Democratic Party. Much like huge chunks of the “Tea Party” is pumped by GOP minions, like Freedom Works.

Meant only in a respectable way in the same way “Tea Baggers” is!

Most on our side of the aisle draw a line through the tribes that have revived the all but dead, regional rump party that is today’s GOP. Though this revival will be fleeting.

      <

p>On one side is the “tea party” folks. I think the “Coffee Party” organizers are making efforts to kibbitz. Or so I have heard.

      <

p>On the other side of the line are “teabaggers.” These folks are well documented. Other than LaRouchies, I’m not sure who would want to kibbitz with them? I think all the moonbats are up at Vermont Yankee.

      <

p>Did I get the slur, correct? It’s moonbats? Right?

I’m sure all the Coffee Grinders will be wholesome rational mainstream Dems. You’ll have a checklist…
