Will Illinois Senate Race Follow MA Pattern? Heed Rasmussen.

February 4, 2010 By hlpeary

Rasmussen polling (who brought Massachusetts the now infamous “Brown is within single digits poll”) today is reporting on the Illinois US Senate race:    Illinois Senate: Kirk 46%, Giannoulias 40%

Republican Mark Kirk holds a modest 46% to 40% lead over Democrat Alexi Giannoulias in the race for the Illinois Senate following Tuesday’s party primaries. The first post-primary Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 telephone survey of the Kirk-Giannoulias race finds just four percent (4%) of likely voters in the state prefer some other candidate, while another 10% are undecided.

Wait until Rush, Glen, Laura and the Tea Party Poopers hear about this! The bucks will be pouring into Mark Kirk’s coffers…maybe Scott Brown will campaign for him…he better have a barn jacket and truck ready to roll.

Advice to Democrat Giannoulias: ask the DC gurus at the WH and DSCC for money right now, but don’t take their advice or let them roll into your campaign!

I mean, it’s not as if Coakley ran a bad campaign or anything.
