As reported in KnowThyNeighbor.org the Massachusetts Gay and Lesbian Political Caucus endorses Republican, Daniel Winslow (who was Mitt Romney’s Chief Legal Counsel 2002-05) over the Democrat, Stanley Nacewicz in the 9th Norfolk House of Representatives.
KnowThyNeighbor gives a good analysis of the Caucus Meeting with Arline Isaacson giving Winslow a temporary pass on his lack of understanding of Transgender people AND the Transgender Rights Bill (which failed to muster a vote in the last session though it had majority support in both the House and Senate). Winlsow’s endorsement was unanimous and included the vote of the head of the MA Transgender Political Coalition, Gunner Scott.

I think this is interesting, and would be worth a front paging, but the post doesn’t really contain any useful information other than the statement itself: why was this endorsement made, and what is the difference between the candidates that justified it?

Sorry, the crux of the reporting is in the KnowThyNeighbor.org link.

p>That re-caps the Caucus meeting itself with my account and observation. Arline Isaacson was pushing Winslow. Tom Lang interviewed Winslow and that is also in the KTN link.

p>Sorry , I guess I should have put more in the body of the post , but I thought readers went to the links.

you know David doesn’t allow BMG’ers to suggest or ask who people REALLY are…it would answer too many questions.

quite frankly, if I were running this blog I would require all to be open and upfront about who they are. Maybe I should get Justice Scalia to adapt his quote for my Doe v Reed case at SCOTUS from “Democracy requires courage” to “Blogging and Blog Commenting require courage…”
