Let’s Get Organized at the Young Democrats Holiday Social in Dorchester, Wed. 12/15

December 13, 2010 By kgilnack

Come to the Greater Boston Young Democrats Holiday Social next Wednesday to talk about the ways we help the Democrats end the year right and remind Senator Brown to put his constituents' values ahead of his Republican partisanship.  Get the details on Facebook:http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=129240547136840

The GBYD Holiday Social will start at 6:30 PM at Blarney Stone Bar (near the Fields Corner MBTA station on the Red Line) next Wednesday (12/15).  Free appetizers will be served so please RSVP so we know how much to order!

There are many serious challenges before us at the moment, but there are also many opportunities for making a difference.  Next week's social is a great opportunity to connect with other people working on or interested in making that happen, talk about ways to do so, and decompress from the frustration that the obstructionist Republicans have created.

I hope I see you there.

Democratically,
Kevin

I have a conflicting commitment.  But I will continue to send young Democrats in your direction.

p>For all of the BMG readers who are over 35, I can say definitively that while the focus is on young Dems, they are very welcoming to interested Democrats of any age!

Sorry you would be able to join us, but I appreciate you taking the time to leave a note and all of your support!

p>And for any other readers, Kate is spot on: all are welcome (Young Dems and Less Young Friends of Young Dems).

p>Thanks again – I hope to see some BMGers tonight!

Kevin’s phrasing reminds me of when I was passing food around I offered “healthy food” and “less healthy food.”  Fuits/vegetables or cream puffs/brownies.
