For everywhere we look, there is work to be done.
The state of the economy calls for action, bold and
swift, and we will act – not only to create new jobs,
but to lay a new foundation for growth. We will build
the roads and bridges, the electric grids and digital
lines that feed our commerce and bind us together.
We will restore science to its rightful place, and wield
technology’s wonders to raise health care’s quality
and lower its cost. We will harness the sun and the
winds and the soil to fuel our cars and run our
factories. And we will transform our schools and
colleges and universities to meet the demands of a
new age. All this we can do. And all this we will do.

of global warming is a too-fancy word for it. By now, it’s nothing other than common sense — the kind of sense that tells you to take the cover off a pot of water when it’s boiling; or to put shoes on when there’s snow outside; or to open a parachute when you’ve jumped out of an airplane … if such is available.

p>The “science” is perfectly simple to understand. The danger is perfectly clear. Time to stop appealing to “science” and more to people’s common sense.

I used to at least lean toward green issues but after the hype of climategate, that fallacy of CO2 and the Nazi tactics applied to the movement you have lost me for life, my kids too. 1010global.org, exploding the “non-believers”. I will have none of that.
