Mitt Romney announced today that he is forming a presidential exploratory committee. He is currently a slight frontrunner in recent GOP polls and comes closest to the President in a head-to-head. The punditry all seems to think that his signing of MA healthcare reform will hurt him with conservatives, but I think it’s consistently conservative to say it was good to try in one state, but not a good idea at the federal level. Time to relaunch the zeppelin?:)
Meanwhile, Deval Patrick’s new book, A Reason To Believe, is out and he will be in NY hawking it, including on The Daily Show. It is not a tell-all or political memoir.
