An epic night for our former governor

February 7, 2012 By mannygoldstein

Looks like R-Money is having an epically bad evening.  CNN’s calling Missouri and Minnesota for Santorum. Colorado still in play.

UPDATE (By Bob): As alert BMGer jconway notes in the comments, CO has been called for Santorum. “Looks like a Rick Roll,” he writes. FURTHER UPDATE Romney aide Eric Fehrnstrom blames the fiasco on his fake Twitter account and Gail Collins in an unguarded moment posted on YouTube.

It doesn’t looked photoshopped – what’s the source? We have a “Love a Democrat” party this weekend, I’d love to put that in as part of the entertainment!

I figured someone took the original and used image-editing software to swap the ‘O‘ and the ‘M‘. It would be a trivial task in Photoshop.

I’m also planning to use the picture of Mitt with the doggie kennel strpped to his head – I’m pretty sure that one was photoshopped as well…

Riding roughshod over Romney in Colorado, up by 10 with half the vote counted.

3-0 for the night, looks like a Rick Roll

..like I woke up in an alternate universe. One where Rick Santorum bizarrely vaults to frontrunner status. One where the vast majority of Republican voters in largely moderate states think Rick Santorum shares their values, isn’t off his rocker, and is leading the Repulican party in a direction that they want to go.

If this had happened in Alabama and Texas it would be one thing, but Colorado?

        What just happened?
