Hi everyone,
Remember that little old supreme court case we had a few weeks ago on health care? It was kind of a big deal. The Affordable Care Act, the President’s health care bill that will more or less create a system of Universal Health Care, was largely upheld by the Supreme Court in one of the most important cases in decades.
Mike and I invited BMG editor David on to talk about it, given his background in constitutional law and keen instincts in electoral politics. Mike has the full-wrap up posted on LeftAhead, but suffice it to say we covered a lot of ground and David provided lots of great details, from why the ACA is constitutional to what the implications will be now that it’ll be a bit easier for states to reject Medicaid expansion, to what the bad blood over the case inside the Supreme Court will mean in the future.
