Those tweets were posted before Dan announced the statement that he’s since posted here and elsewhere. Marsh jumped the gun.

I am actually totally undecided, I’d be perfectly satisfied with Grossman, excited by Capuano or Curtatone (I’m sure it’s one or the other), and really appreciated Sen. Wolf and his responses to my questions on BMG. I really like his background and policy positions. I sure hope he stays in, he would be a formidable general election candidate and his perspective would enrich the field.

I hope he stays in too. Wolf is likeable and smart. He’d be a good governor

The Ethics Commission has given him 30 days to make a decision if he wants to stay in the Senate OR divest himself of this 20% ownership in Cape Air because of state contracts. There isn’t any kind of ‘blind trust’ option, because this is direct ownership rather than shareholder ownership.
SO – is Peake still running for Senate, but in a Special?
I had heard more interest in Sheila Bowen of the HDTC rather than Ed McManus, but there’s a big Cape-wide picnic of Democrats on Wednesday, so more will likely emerge then.
DISCLAIMER – I knew the 2012 GOP candidates and campaign, and this issue came up then but was judged a nonstarter as a conflict
