LAKE SURGES IN STRAW POLLS !

May 1, 2014 By fredrichlariccia

Democratic candidate for Lt. Governor, Mike Lake, continued his unbroken win streak by capturing the recent Cape Cod straw poll in Eastham.

His string of victories include:

POLL DATE             LOCATION           RESULTS  %  (% shows Mike Lake’s plurality)

4/27                           Eastham               36

3/9                             North Andover      48

2/3                     BLUEMASSGROUP     69 (Kate Dognahue’s poll)

10/19/13    Haverhill DCC Breakfast      98

This further proves that Mike Lake is the most electable liberal in the race.

Well done, Team Lake !

Don’t those numbers show he is losing ground quite a bit?

When the first poll was taken back in October of 2013 I believe only Mike and Steve Kerrigan were on the ballot.
Since then Leland Cheung and James Arena DeRosa have thrown their hats in the ring and Jonathan Edwards dropped out splitting up the vote. The bottom line, though, is that Mike has still won every straw poll even though the margin has changed, A win is still a win. Is it not ?

    another poll!
Lake is also the first Lt. Gov. candidate to have reached 10,000 signatures collected and turned in!
Great progressive = great grassroots organization = great candidate!

They don’t mean shit. I mean, sure, it means something that you can get x people to an event. That shows organizing power. But still, it doesn’t mean that his message is resonating with the *real* voters, outside of the insider echo-chamber. Then again, it doesn’t mean that it’s not.
