The Boston Globe is reporting that US Senator Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire raised more than $2.8m in the 2nd quarter and has more than $5 million on-hand. Carpetbagger Scott Brown has not yet reported his fundraising but the deadline for reporting is July 15th. If you are like me, please take a moment to simply enjoy the Schadenfreude.

Most polling seems to show NH leaning Democratic or better for the Senate race. It is Landrieu, Pryor, Hagan, and Begich who all have close races. Last time I looked, we could only afford one loss among the four of them. So please consider contributing to the races in Louisiana, Arkansas, North Carolina, and Alaska.

Cotton is making some Akin like statements while also has the Cantor problem of spending more time with DC insiders and less time with the folks. I think Pryor, a great retail campaigner with long roots in the state, will seal the deal. Mary is gonna need her brother to really get the black vote out in NOLA or she is SOL, and Hagan’s numbers also seem to be stabilizing. I am getting more confident that we can actually keep the Senate, and we may even have a GA or KY upset. But I’ve been burned before.

If he can’t even get nominated his career is over.
