My only bitch with Maura Healy is she loves her boss while I can’t stand her. Yet she has shown signs of independent thinking and as the campaign went along she realized she couldn’t be all things Martha. That’s a good thing.
I want to give her the benefit of the doubt. It’s a against my better judgement but the alternative is worse.
Warren Tolman always reminded me of the over-confident kid in high school who coveted fame for any reason. His ego can’t survive among us mere mortals.
He’s like the kid who does some media driven thing to raise money for charity like walk backwards around the world or something, but it’s really not about the charity, it’s about him.
Warren Tolman is a brand he’s been creating his entire career. His problem is he is does not have a fraction of the charisma he thinks he has. I expect an Attorney General Tolman to involve himself in every issue that comes down the pike with more fluff than substance.
The guys greatest accomplishment was keeping 617 as the Watertown area code. Be careful what you wish for. Everyone thinks it’s 781 resulting in constant little annoyances for Watertown businesses.
Anyway, I’m not up for watching Warren’s come back. He won’t rest until he’s governor and his too-cool-for-school-frat-boy-limelight-searching-for attention-act is a turn off.
Note: I don’t think I can take another Healy basketball reference. Stop it now Maura. It’s getting more tiring than Tolman’s act.

Since I do find eb3 amusing at times, I’ll be part of his little drama here and congratulate ryepower12 on predicting this back in June.

paying much attention, like a lot of people, I suppose, but I was surprised to see her huge lead over Tolman.
I’ve never had so many people asking me who was good to vote for than this primary.

Only a couple of days before the Globe poll. Globe’s polling has been all over the place. Not saying Tolman’s anything close to a lock, but I wouldn’t place much stock in the latest Globe poll.
