One of the most frustrating things I hear is “Politics doesn’t matter – all politicians are the same.” When reasonable people sit out elections and let big money pick the candidates, then yes, they’ll all be the same. Every Democrat should support a primary candidate, then we should all rally around the nominee.
Take 5 minutes to listen to what Bernie Sanders has to say in this clip. If you think he sounds just like every other politician, you are so buried in cynicism, I can hardly see you in there. If you think he sounds different, sign up for his email list or like his Facebook page.

It is nice to see a politician who could actually pass a lie detector test.
That’s not usually a compliment in my experience. It brings to mind the “Slick Willie” moniker for Bill Clinton.
