May 19, 2020 By Charley on the MTA 8 Comments

I was at Arlington Town Hall yesterday a little after 8am, and there were a fair number of folks taking advantage of the ability to get their votes in ahead of Super Tuesday. I very much appreciate jconway's remarks on supporting Bernie … [Read more...]

DNC: Ugly, but “rigged”?

November 3, 2017 By Charley on the MTA 38 Comments

I don't mean to steal the fire of Mark's excellent post on the Donna Brazile article. Brazile paints a dire picture of the mismanagement and neglect at the DNC, and the Clinton campaign's bailout/takeover starting in 2015. The most … [Read more...]

April 15, 2016 By glenn.wiech 13 Comments

Much has been made of the twin takedowns of Sanders last week. First there was the Daily News story which was spun by many in the media and the Hillary camp as a disaster, but if you read and understood the actual content it wasn't a … [Read more...]

Sanders: a special opportunity

February 29, 2016 By ykozlov 11 Comments

I first heard of Bernie Sanders about nine years ago. I don't remember the context, but I remember my reaction: “Vermont has a socialist senator!?” I was amazed to hear of a man who not only dared to run as a socialist in a country … [Read more...]
