Where’s the money for MBTA (and schools and parks)? — Part II

February 16, 2012 By shirleykressel 1 Comment

These comfortable shoes are made for walking… or maybe just talking

February 25, 2011 By shirleykressel 67 Comments

Even the Kos ventured only a little tiny criticism -- and immediately defended himself, like a child anticipating a scolding, from his liberal parents.  And he assured the readers that he will vote for Obama anyway.   This is very … [Read more...]

February 16, 2011 By shirleykressel 18 Comments

So Deval's hero, Michael Bloomberg, said the film and TV industry subsidy is a "race to the bottom" and "a waste."  Will Deval emulate the politician he said during his campaign that he most would want to be?  Or will he continue … [Read more...]

The Patrick-Baker Identity

November 11, 2010 By shirleykressel 18 Comments

During the gubernatorial campaign, I wrote that Deval and Charlie are fundamentally alike; I said that Deval devotees are being blinded by partisan politics and their reluctance to admit they were fooled.  I urged liberals to break out … [Read more...]

We really have no choice

September 26, 2010 By shirleykressel 15 Comments

Unless we enact some form of ranked-choice voting, we will never be able to break out of the political Republicrat trap, and never have a chance at getting the real "change" that people desperately want.  Third-party candidates will … [Read more...]
