September 22, 2017 By shillelaghlaw

Local comedian and friend of Blue Mass Group Jimmy Tingle is apparently running for Lieutenant Governor.

    I’d vote for him.

Especially right now I’d prefer a bit more of a wall between entertainment and politics.

Jimmy Tingle is closer to Al Franken than he is to the person you’re thinking of. He’s been a consistent political voice for a long time.

        I suppose so.

A fellow Longfellow and CRLS alum to boot. Still lives in the same house he grew up in off Inman Street. Has that populist liberal appeal we need, and like Marty Walsh, is a proud supporter and member of the recovery community where he’s done a lot of great work. It’ll take a comedian to take this joke of an office seriously!

When I followed the OCPF link being the nerd that I am I scrolled down looking for other candidates. I found that one Brian Felder is running for Secretary of the Commonwealth.

Well. He seems like a nice young man. I can’t wait for the six-part debate series between Mr. Felder and Bill Galvin.

Schedule one debate for every percent of the delegates Felder gets above 15% at the convention.

He’s got my vote in the primary by virtue of not being the incumbent. Though I’ve long given up hope that this office will change personnel until he dies. It’s a miracle he hired a lot of great people at OCPF: one of the most underrated, important, and hard working offices in our Commonwealth.

I’m looking forward to attending some of Felder’s Upcoming Events he’s showing as scheduled for last month. (Does that mean I’m looking backwards?)
