The silence of the lambs

November 2, 2017 By Trickle up

The retirement tax is out, but the 20% tax hike and double taxation—taxing taxes—is at the center of the plan.

Easy pickin’s, enough for the Dems to beat the plan and retake the House at least. The GOP is utterly clueless about this, at this point. They’ve been believing their own propaganda for too long.

Yet this from my party: crickets.

Why is that? You can’t beat someone with no one, or evil with silence.

You’ve called it so far. The dems seem to think that the $500k limit on mortgage deductibility is their best issue. How many people does that affect?
To your two arguments I would add that this bill is an AMNESTY for FOREIGN CORPORATE TAX AVOIDERS and does nothing to prevent them from dodging more taxes in the future. It turns Wall Street and K Street into SANCTUARY CITIES for tax lawyers from Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. Those islands aren’t sending us their best . . . you get the idea.
