So I’ve been doing some research about the race for the chairmanship of the Mass Democratic party and one of the candidates seeking to unseat Gus Bickford, Mike Lake, caught my attention for a rather unfortunate reason. It seems he plans on continuing to stay on as CEO of the organization he runs called “Leading Cities” if he is elected as chairman. Does this concern anyone else? I’m worried he won’t be able to devote his full time to the job of leading the Mass Democrats. I’m sure his organization does some good work but if he is going to run the state party I think he should be devoting all of his time to that.

I definitely prefer the chairmanship be one’s full time and only job. The difference is noticeable.
