Editor’s note: This is important and you should tell Governor Baker to sign it. Your voice really does matter. – Charley
Summary of S.2995, An Act creating a next-generation roadmap for Massachusetts climate policy

Senator Mike Barrett, one of the lead sponsors, sent me this today:
On Monday, the Mass. Legislature approved S.2995, the strongest climate legislation in a generation….
The Governor has 7 days left to decide whether to sign the bill into law or kill it. His choice, and his choice alone….
Even if you reached out to him several days ago, it’s now vital that you do so again. Please email him at https://www.mass.gov/forms/email-the-governors-office
Be safe. Be well. Despite what’s happening in D.C., be optimistic (remember Georgia). Getting this bill signed will be good news, which is what we need in a month of siege.
Best,
Senator Mike Barrett
I called the Governor’s office a day or two ago and emailed again today.
Take a look at the bill and, if you agree, please let the Governor know.

I emailed the Governor. After retirement a few months ago, I made the decision to remain in Massachusetts and relocate to the Cape. It is a beautiful state to live in, raise a family, and retire. Our commitment to addressing climate change and taking on the responsibility of being true stewards of out environment make it all possible.
