1) Beyond the endorsement of Capuano, Bosley and Barrett had both publicly criticized Coakley’s sending out feelers about running for Senate while Kennedy was still alive. That quick and public criticism of a “hometown girl made good” was seen as odd until one considers that…
2) Barrett’s former Administrative Officer, Mary Katherine Eade, now works for Coakley in her Springfield Office and serves on challenger Alcombright’s Campaign Committee.
3) Finally, Bosley and Barrett invited Capuano to campaign to a North Adams crowd yesterday, just three days before the municipal election.
Another interesting, but inconsequential, tidbit is that Bosley’s daughter is Barrett’s campaign manager.
You guys can have Boston Politics. Ours are just as entertaining.

…all politics is local. Nice to know Martha Coakley continues to pay close attention to where she grew up.

…for a state or federal candidate to meddle in local politics can get very messy very quickly. I would suggest not getting bogged down in that.
